Frisco

Frisco is a quaint, historic town centrally located to Summit County’s 4 world-class ski resorts. With 2,600 full-time residents and 4,200 second home owners, Frisco offers residents a comfortable, neighborly community. Conveniently located just off Interstate 70, Frisco is home to Summit County’s hospital that opened in December of 2005! Frisco is also home to the Frisco Nordic Center, the Frisco Skate Park, the Peninsula Recreation Area and the Frisco Marina that offers boating at the Dillon Reservoir.

Upcoming Activity, January 20th, 2018: Spontaneous Combustion Community Bonfire

What does a town of 3,000 do with “gently used” Christmas trees? We throw a party with a bonfire of course! Spontaneous Combustion is a community celebration, which features a bonfire and fireworks, as well as beverage and chili sales to benefit the Summit Nordic Ski Club, which has been providing access to Nordic skiing for Summit County’s youth for nearly 50 years. Outer Range Brewing Co. will also be on hand selling their highly lauded local beer.
